Wednesday mornings by appointment with the Doctor, thereafter Monday afternoons by appointment with the midwife.

Child Immunisations
All children under five years of age are encouraged to have the recommended immunisations. Appointments for clinics, held weekly at each surgery, are sent out routinely. Please let us know if your child's appointment is inconvenient.

Chronic Disease Management
The Nurse manages chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, transient ischaemic attack (TIA), Stroke and cardiovascular disease (CVD). She will refer to the doctor as appropriate.
Cardio Vascular Services
All patients who have a history of Coronary Heart Disease, Angina and Heart Failure will be invited to attend an annual assessment with one of our Practice Nurses.
In addition to recording vital medical statistics, comprehensive advice will be given on lifestyle and support offered to patients enabling them to live an ordinary life as possible.
Free Chlamydia Test
If you are between the ages of 15 to 25 years you can have a Chlamydia test. This is done on a urine sample. The results are confidential and can be sent to your mobile phone. Ask the doctors, advanced nurse practitioners or nurses for the test.

Diabetes Clinic
We have a visiting Diabetes Nurse who sees our patients regularly as well as appointments with our Practice Nurse.
Epilepsy Review Clinic
These will be performed by appointment with the Doctor.
Family Planning and Contraception
Both doctors and nurses offer contraceptive services. Guidance on the best method of contraception for you is given and these include the pill, contraceptive injections, caps and coils, or implants.
Emergency contraception is also part of the service.
Patient confidentiality is respected at all times.
Excluding Intrauterine device (IUD) services, by appointment with the Doctor.
Maternity Services
Excluding intrapartum care, appointment with the Doctor initially, followed by shared care with the midwife.
Patients Over 75 Years of Age
If you are 75 years or over, we offer you an annual consultation with the nurse. This can be done at the surgery, but if you are housebound, please tell the receptionist and we will arrange a review in your own home. Please bring a urine specimen with you.

Routine Health Screening
Please make an appointment to see the Practice Nurse. If you are a new patient to the Practice, please arrange to have a check-up as soon as possible, as your medical records may be delayed in arriving from your previous Doctor.
Stopping Smoking
The practice nurse offers smoking cessation advice and support. Please ask for an appointment.
Local pharmacies also provide a Stop Smoking service.
Three Yearly Consultation
If you have not been seen for 3 years by a health professional, you may request a consultation. Enquire at reception.
Travel Immunisations & Advice
Our Practice Nurses are available for travel advice and immunisations. An appointment should be made at least 6 weeks prior to travel.

Weight Management Clinic
We offer weight management by referral to slimming clubs, health trainers and waistlines.
